Our Family Story
Our story didn’t begin with parenting.
It began with friendship.
We were colleagues first. Then friends. Then we chose each other—intentionally and with faith at the center. Four years into marriage, we’re still learning, growing, and building a life rooted in shared values.
Along the way, we made decisions that stretched us.
We moved countries.
We planted ourselves in new communities.
We learned to trust God through seasons that required patience and courage.
Then we became parents.
Nothing truly prepares you for that moment. Even when you’ve grown up surrounded by family. Even when you’ve watched others raise children. Parenthood humbles you in ways nothing else does.
Today, we are a family of three—learning as we go.
We are Christians. Faith grounds our home. Prayer centers us when emotions feel loud. Community sustains us when days feel heavy.
We value marriage deeply. We believe a strong family begins with a nurtured union, so we choose to protect our relationship while raising our child—not perfectly, but intentionally.
We love simple joys. Playing table tennis. Boxing as movement and release. Learning new things together. Creating rhythms that bring laughter into our home.
We believe in stewarding time, family, and purpose well. In choosing presence over constant productivity. In building a life that honors what matters most.
The Joyful Village was born from this place—a desire to share honestly, build community, and remind parents that they are not alone.
